HEALTH AND SAFETY

For our audience’s health and safety, and that of our performers and volunteers, WMGSO has implemented the following policy for our May 14, 2022 in-person concert.  If you are purchasing tickets on behalf of others, then you are responsible for communicating WMGSO’s policy to the rest of your party.

Masks and proof of vaccination are required.  Audience members must be fully vaccinated.  Fully vaccinated means having received a FDA- or WHO-authorized double-dose vaccine or single-dose vaccine, plus a booster dose.  We are not checking for second booster doses at this time.  Ticket holders who do not comply with this policy will not be admitted.

Accepted proof of vaccination:

  • Physical vaccine card.
  • Photo or photocopy of vaccine card + a photo ID that matches the name listed on the vaccine card.
  • Vaccine passport app, such as Health Pass, Bindle, or VaxYes.
  • Digital vaccine card through your home Health Department.

Seating capacity is capped at 80-percent to allow for some social distancing between parties.  We suggest leaving one seat empty between groups.

If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, we ask that you please stay home.

FAQs:

What precautions are the performers taking to stay safe?

Our performers showed proof of vaccination plus booster in order to rehearse with WMGSO in person this season.  All orchestra and choir members are required to be masked at all times.  The choir has specialty masks designed for singers.  Additionally, the first three rows in front of the stage will be left empty to create a buffer between the ensemble and the audience.

What is the maximum seating capacity for this concert?

The Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert Hall and Arts Center seats 981; however, we are capping our audience at 784.  This is to allow for some social distancing between parties.  We ask that our audience members leave one seat open between their group and others.

Can my minor children attend the concert?

Children who are fully vaccinated are welcome to attend.  They or their accompanying adult will need to show proof of the child’s vaccination.  Unfortunately, this means that children under the age of five cannot attend this concert.

Can I show a negative COVID-19 PCR test instead of proof of vaccination?

No, we are not accepting negative test results instead of proof of vaccination, unless you are medically exempt.

I am medically exempt from receiving a COVID-19 vaccine. May I attend the concert?

Yes, please bring proof of exemption and present a negative COVID-19 PCR test from within 48 hours of the concert.

Will paperless programs be made available?

Yes, we will have both physical programs and paperless programs available.  There will be digital concert feedback options as well.

Can I get a refund on my tickets?

Givebutter is the platform WMGSO uses to issue tickets.  Please read their refund request procedures HERE.

Is the venue accessible?

Yes, the venue is accessible in compliance with ADA.  Sonic Ear Assisted Listening System is available.

All other ticketing questions should be directed to asst.development@wmgso.org. Thank you.

What is the dress code? Can I cosplay?

There is no formal dress code to attend a WMGSO concert.  Some of our audience members take the opportunity to dress in fandom shirts and jewelry.  Cosplay is allowed, so long as you can fit in your seat and don’t impede others’ view of the stage.  No weapons, even mock weapons, are permitted.
