Come music lovers and orchestra enthusiasts to an afternoon of classical play and student discussion! In collaboration with George Mason University’s Artist-in-Residence Program, Student Life is hosting a virtual evening with Sphinx Virtuosi! Sphinx is a Detroit-based chamber orchestra dedicated to increasing racial and ethnic diversity in classical music. The group seeks to transform lives through the power of diversity in the arts.
 
The virtual event takes place Monday, Oct 18, at 4 pm and will feature a quartet of Sphinx Virtuosi musicians playing 1-2 pieces of music and student-led discussion throughout the session.
