The NOVA Career & Leadership Readiness Institute offers NOVA students the opportunity to enhance their career, leadership readiness knowledge, skills to be more competitive job candidates, and to work more effectively in a diverse workplace. This session is open to CLRI and non-CLRI participants.

SkillsUSA is a NVCC Club for students taking Career and Technical Education courses. SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled work force. It helps each student excel.

The goals of this club are to:

1) Provide opportunities for students to practice their skills.
2) Apply classroom learning, making it relevant for students through competitions at the District, State and National levels. 
2) Teaches leadership and professional skills through Workplace, Technical and Personal Skill development.
3) Prepare students to enter the skilled workforce.
