Join us for a Distracted and Impaired Driving Awareness event hosted by NOVA Police in partnership with Virginia State Police and Student Life. This event is designed to educate students, faculty, and staff on the dangers of distracted and impaired driving and how these behaviors impact personal safety and the campus community.

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a driving simulator and wear impairment-simulation goggles to experience how alcohol and other impairments can affect reaction time, coordination, and decision-making. Virginia State Troopers and NOVA Police officers will also be on site to share information, answer questions, and provide safety resources.
