EVENT OVERVIEW

Northern Virginia Community College's Fall 2024 Career Fair at Alexandria will take place on Wednesday, October 23rd, 2024 from 11:00am - 2:00pm EST at the Alexandria Campus. The fair will connect students and alumni with employers from the Alexandria area and beyond searching for talent to fill their open positions and internships.

The in-person fair will take place at the Indoor Basketball Court & Dance Studio located in the AFA Building at the Alexandria Campus and will allow students to have face to face interaction with employers and to learn about opportunities in the Alexandria area and beyond. 

Employers and organizations from all career fields are welcome to participate and we would like to place an emphasis on those from the Alexandria area for this event but will also welcome employers from the DMV. 

If you are a student that requires accommodations in order to participate in this event, please notify novacareerservices@nvcc.edu no later than October 9th, 2024.

NOVA's in-person job fair offers you the opportunity to speak with employer representatives in a face to face setting.  Students can review employers, job & internship positions, and submit their resumes ahead of time for employers to review before the fair. Students are strongly encouraged to submit a resume when they register to attend to maximize their in-person interactions with recruiters.

It is recommended to dress appropriately for the event.  While these may not be interviews, it is still important to make a great impression and to maintain decent attire! 

This event is open only to NOVA students and alumni.  It is not open to the general public.
