EVENT OVERVIEW

Northern Virginia Community College's Fall 2024 Internship Fair will ocur on Tuesday, September 17th, 2024 from 11:00am - 2:00pm EDT at the Annandale Campus. The fair will connect students and alumni with employers from the Annandale area and beyond searching for talent for Internships, Apprenticeships, or Externships set to occur in 2024 and 2025. 

The in-person fair will take place at the Ernst Community Cultural Center Forum at the Annandale Campus and will allow students to have face to face interaction with employers and to learn about internship opportunities.

This event is not restricted to any single subject area or career field but we are primarily looking for employers with the following criteria -

• First and foremost, employers who are advertising for part time or full time (if occurring over summer 2025) internship/apprenticeship/externship opportunities that are set to occur later on in 2024, or spring/summer 2025.  This is our #1 priority for the event.  
• Business is located in or near the Alexandria/Arlington area.  We will not restrict business outside this area but again, those within will receive priority consideration.

NOVA's in-person job fair offers you the opportunity to speak with employer representatives in a face to face setting.  Students can review employers, job & internship positions, and submit their resumes ahead of time for employers to review before the fair. Students are strongly encouraged to submit a resume when they register to attend to maximize their in-person interactions with recruiters.

It is highly recommended to dress appropriately for the event and to have physical copies of your resume on hand!!  While these may not be interviews, it is still important to make a great impression and to maintain decent attire! 

This event is open only to NOVA Students and alumni.  It is not open to the general public
