George Mason University has opened registration for our Spring 2021 Virtual STEM Transfer Day on Friday, April 16, 2021 from 2-4 pm.  This event is designed for prospective transfers students from community colleges who would like to learn more about Mason as a premier STEM destination.  The event both for students who are exploring transfer options in STEM and health (College of Science, School of Engineering, and College of Health and Human Services), and for those who have selected Mason as their STEM transfer institution. 

 

Our Virtual STEM Transfer Day offers a unique opportunity for prospective STEM-H transfer students to :

 

•Explore our Carnegie Research 1-ranked STEM labs and facilities

•Investigate Mason’s STEM-H academic programs and transfer pathways

•Discover Mason’s robust career preparation focus, including research and internship opportunities

•Engage in small breakout sessions with our award-winning STEM faculty

•Chat with Mason STEM transfers about their experiences

•Enjoy a virtual, guided tour of Mason’s beautiful Fairfax campus

 

Capacity for this virtual event is limited, and is open to all community college students.  Please encourage interested students to register early to secure their slot.  Community College counselors/advisors may also attend to learn more about Mason’s STEM-H offerings and resources.  All participants should use the same registration webform, which is located on our College of Science Transfer website https://science.gmu.edu/academics/transfer-programs.
