Hour 2 Empower

Did you know?
When a victim of sexual assault goes to the hospital for treatment or the PERK (Physical Evidence Recovery Kit) exam, all of their clothes have to kept for evidence. This means that women, men, and children are leaving our hospitals in paper scrubs after enduring one of their greatest traumas.

Help restore hope and dignity to victims of sexual violence by assembling Aftercare Kits containing items like new clothing, toiletries, a teddy bear, resource card, journal, and more. Attendees will also hear from speakers, such as sexual assault survivors and forensic nurses, on how to change the culture surrounding sexual violence. Volunteers needed, please click here for more information or to register.
