The Virtual Employer Lobby (VEL) connects NOVA students and alumni with employer representatives to network and learn about career opportunities. The virtual lobby takes place through a Zoom meeting set up by NOVA, where each participating organization hosts their own breakout room. Employer representatives may provide information about career paths in their industry or organization and/or specific openings for jobs and internships. This VEL will focus on NOVA's Computer Science & Information Technology pathways and feature employers with opportunities related to Cybersecurity, Information Systems Technology, Networking, Web and Application Development, and more! 

The VEL is designed to be more casual than a career fair. All meetings are in a group setting, and students may drop into the lobby as their schedules allow. Students are encouraged to visit multiple breakout rooms throughout the event and turn their video cameras on for more personalized interactions. Students must hit the "Attend" button to receive the Zoom link prior to the event.
