ODU Remote Experience for Young Engineers and Scientists

Registration is now open for Old Dominion University’s Remote Experience for Young Engineers and Scientists (REYES) program. The goal of REYES is to increase science literacy, inspire and train the next generation of scientists. Our inclusive program is making science accessible to help diversify the future STEM-H pipeline. 

This engaging STEM-based summer enrichment virtual program is free and open to the public.

Join motivated and ambitious learners from all over the world for an online program filled with free: 

  • STEM classes
  • Guest lectures
  • Panels
  • Activities
  • Social engagement opportunities

Some of the 70+ topics covered in this program will include astronomy; artificial intelligence; spaceflight and autonomy; entomology; computer engineering; engineering; chemistry; gaming technologies; computer science; psychology; Python coding and more. 

Faculty at ODU and researchers at NASA, Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (Jefferson Lab) and other research institutions across the world are generously donating their time and expertise so we can offer this program at no cost to you.

This year, we are also adding a mentoring program for students.
