The Office of Wellness and Mental Health is excited to announce that we will be spending one day once a month in-person on your campus & in The Virtual Student Union space via Zoom, to be present and accessible for students, faculty, and staff. While there, we would offer consultations for faculty and staff, tabling to share resources, and offer a workshop that would be focused on an aspect of our theme for the semester: Reconnecting to Our Purpose Driven Life. The mission of our office is to provide assistance, resources, support, and interventions to members of the NOVA community in order to positively impact emotional development, healthy social skills and enhance the academic success focusing on the individual as a whole: mind, body, and spirit.


Each workshop will provide an opportunity to explore your connection to your mind, body, and spirit. The workshops will be interactive, include mindfulness and meditation activities, and provide you with helpful tips and strategies to live a purpose driven life. The session topics include

Session #1 Reawaken your purpose by understanding your why,

Session#2 Revive your purpose by shifting your mindset.

Session #3 Release negative habits that don’t support your why.

Session #4 Wellness and Mental Health Tips and Supports for Finals.

While we welcome you to attend all 4 sessions if your schedule permits, please feel free to join the ones that you can!
