Sherwood: The Adventures of Robin Hood

You’re invited to attend the spring NOVA-Woodbridge theater production: Sherwood: The Adventures of Robin Hood on March 23, 24, 25, 30, 31, & April 1 at 7:00pm; and Sunday, April 2 at 3:00pm, in the Black Box Theater.

Sherwood: The Adventures of Robin Hood is a story about fighting for what your conscience requires. The story begins with a young man who believes in nothing but a good time, then comes face to face with the kind of greed and inhumanity that won’t let him sleep at night. Suddenly, he’s an outlaw hiding in Sherwood Forest where he joins up with a band of followers including Little John, Friar Tuck, and a feisty adventuress, Maid Marian Fitzwalter, who steals his heart and won’t give it back.

This classic story of courage is based on the English ballads of the 14th and 15th centuries and is filled, like its hero, with thrills, romance, and a deep belief in social justice. Written by Ken Ludwig and directed and designed by David Tyson.
