Welcome to the Spring 2022 NOVA Fab Lab Design Challenge. We want to put young minds to the test and challenge YOU to use your skills and innovation to fabricate something amazing!
Every day we notice problems or inefficiencies with our surroundings and often say things like, “It would be easier or better if...” School is no exception. Whether it’s organizing papers and materials for classwork or projects, or making daily tasks a bit more fun, there are many ways to improve an area of your school life.
Your Challenge: To design or refine a product to help improve your school life.
Judging Criteria: Your creations will be judged based on Innovation, Creativity, Feasibility, & Usefulness.
Who can participate: Students enrolled in a middle school, high school, or college/university within the continental United States. An individual or team of up to 3 students can compete.
PRIZES
First Prize: $500, 3D Printer, and your design fabricated
Second Prize: $300, 3D Printer, and your design fabricated
Third Prize: $100, 3D Printer, and your design fabricated
