NOVA SySTEMic is committed to providing cybersecurity education for High School (HS) teachers on defined topics that are aligned to State of Virginia guidance on cyber education at the high school level to ensure content and quality is consistent for what the teachers learn vs what they teach. This series is geared towards training teachers in the cybersecurity domains. The course will include an overview of the following topics: Human Considerations of Cyber and Personal Vulnerability Assessment, Cyber Intelligence Gathering and Analysis, Networks and Software Defined Networking, and Secure Development and Use of Applications. This series is open to elementary, middle school, and high school teachers within the NOVA SySTEMic region. One and a half-hour-sessions to be held at 4:00pm on the following Mondays: February 1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd
