Virtual Employer Lobby: Part-time Jobs & Paid Internships

The Virtual Employer Lobby (VEL) will be open on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 between 12pm - 2pm EST. This lobby is open to all students and alumni. Employers with part-time jobs or paid internship opportunities are invited to participate. 

VEL connects NOVA students and alumni with employers through group video meetings to network and learn about career opportunities. Employers may provide information about career paths in their industry or organization and/or specific openings for jobs or internships. The lobby is open once per month and takes place virtually using Zoom breakout rooms set up by NOVA. Each employer in attendance will be assigned their own virtual breakout room, and students will select the employer's room they want to join from the main lobby. Students must register to attend on Career Connection to receive the Zoom event link prior to the event. The VEL is designed to be more casual than a career fair. All meetings are in a group setting and students may drop into the lobby as their schedules allow.
